Episode 103: The Steward and the King
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
We, at Highlawn Baptist want to wish all in the listening audience a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving! This episode is being released early, in time for Thanksgiving, as this was Pastor Jason's Thanksgiving message for all of us, and we feel this may shed some much needed perspective on being "thankful".
It goes without saying that for all of us, 2020 has been a very difficult year, in many ways - for some more so than others. The stress, the fears, the anxieties all work against us and clog our mind resulting in the gradual clouding and then eliminating of the presence of God in our lives, no matter the circumstances.
Being brave in the face of fear is all well and good, but bravery is not the counter weight to fear, rather faith is what can truly, eternally battle fear in our lives. So, how do we stay faithful in times of great stress, distress, depression, and so on?
Join Pastor Jason as he brings to light what God's Word has to tell us about staying faithful, and staying thankful, in all times - good or bad.
