Episode 104: A World in Darkness and the Coming of God's Light
Sunday Dec 06, 2020

Editor's Note: With some "technical difficulties" and a little hectic start to the day, Pastor Jason took a few moments to express his gratitude and love for those in attendance. Personally, I was in awe at the heartfelt, personal message he had for each and every person there, and I have no doubt that he could continue on for everyone that was watching from home, or couldn't be there for whatever reason. We're very grateful to have a pastor that personally cares for his flock as Pastor Jason does. Thank you!
The message for the day begins at time 9:30 in the podcast if you wish to skip ahead.
Today is the first day of Advent, a day to remember and celebrate "Hope". The world throughout history, and clearly today, is in a desperate scramble to find anything to hope in, or on, or for. The current hope is that with the coming of the new year, 2021, we can leave 2020 behind and a better future awaits. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that this will actually happen. So how do we find hope in a world gone mad?
A Christian's hope does not come from the passage of time, or politicians, or scientists, but rather from God. We have no reason to fear for our God is perfect love and perfect hope. Join Pastor Jason as he shows us from God's Word, the hope that every Christian has...and that everyone not yet saved is searching for.
