Editor's Note: After a holiday spent with family and friends, I am now working on catching back up with the messages that have been given, but not uploaded. Over the course of this week I'll be working on catching up with both the podcast and YouTube videos, with the goal to be "back on schedule" by Sunday morning, January 17, 2021. Thank you for you patience!
Happy New Year! Welcome to 2021! As was proven in 2020, we have no idea what this year may bring, but we can praise the Almighty, Sovereign God we have complete assurance that He is in control, and our hope lies not in the things of this world, but in Heavenly things, the things of God.
Today Pastor Jason, as he does the beginning of every new year, read the church covenant (not included in this podcast), and asked the church to reaffirm their commitment to the language contained therein. He then transitioned into our covenant as Born Again Believers in Jesus, specifically one aspect of our covenant - Discipleship.
To truly be a disciple of Christ, we must first be saved...and then after that, there are a few specific things we should strive to perfect over the course of our lives. To neglect the Pathway of Discipleship is to turn our backs on our Christian duties - which not only deprives the world of another voice for God, but damages and hardens our own hearts and lives.
Join Pastor Jason as he discusses how we can be Christ in the World...how we can walk down the Pathway of Discipleship.
