Episode 113: Outside the Camp

Church throughout history, and especially prevalent today, is faced with the the difficult task of balancing discipleship and evangelism, outreach and member-care, ministering to young and old, etc.  On top of that, churches do require members for key roles in the church, for financial support of the church, etc.  Too often, we see churches compromise "here" to give more "there", with the worst compromise being the neglect of the Gospel in exchange for "butts in the seats". So what are we, as a church body supposed to do?  How do we both faithfully ensure our "continued existence" yet faithfully preach the Gospel, in a world that seems to be less and less interested in the latter? 

 

Guest Speaker, Pastor Todd McClure shows us not what the latest poll, the latest consultant, the latest magazine article says, but rather dives into the Bible to look at the example that Jesus gave us, as the example and instructions He gave are of vastly more import than anything "man" could devise. Join us as Pastor Todd takes us "Outside the Camp".
