Episode 143: The Church in Persecution

Today Pastor Jason continues to look at the seven churches addressed in Revelation, turning his focus to the church at Smyrna, and the persecution they found themselves under as the jumping off point to speak to the state of the church today. Persecution can come from multiple sources and for multiple reasons. In fact as Christians and as a Christ following, Biblical church, persecution is almost assured. Jesus warned us about this. But what do we do with it?

We are not called to hide away, put up barriers, lock ourselves in the basement to hope we can withstand as persecution passes by. No, God has purpose in everything, including persecution for His church and His children. Join Pastor Jason as he outlines the purposes for persecution and the Glory that even persecution can bring to God!
