Today's message was preceded by the presentation of the Third Day of Advent - Joy. This was presented by Sharon Layne and Larry Nelson, with the lighting of the Joy candle.

In the world today, we find a lot of people crying out that they just want to be happy!  And although there is nothing wrong with happiness, this too is a blessing from God, what the world needs more than ever is Joy. Joy and happiness can and often do, coexist, but Joy is unaffected by the day to day trials of life surface emotions. Joy is something deeper, more profound, more concrete...and joy, true joy, has only one source.
